Vantage is an iOS app that helps you retake photos of the same scene over time and compare the results. It is built to work entirely on your device.
The short version: Vantage does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs, and no servers. The app makes no network connections. Everything it creates stays on your device unless you choose to share or export it.
You can decline or revoke any of these permissions in iOS Settings; related features simply won't work.
Photos you take and the data Vantage records about them (including location) are stored locally in the app's storage on your device. Deleting a photo series in the app, or deleting the app itself, removes that data. Saving to your photo library and any sharing or exporting happen only when you initiate them through iOS; anything you export is then under your control. Note that photos saved to your library carry standard photo metadata (such as location) just like photos from the built-in Camera app.
If you use a beta version of Vantage through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may collect crash logs, usage statistics, and any feedback you choose to submit, as described in Apple's TestFlight terms and controlled by your device's sharing settings. We receive only what Apple passes along (such as anonymized crash reports and feedback you send). The app itself contains no crash-reporting or analytics code.
Vantage is not directed at children under 13, and because the app collects no data, it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
If the app's behavior ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, this page and its effective date will be updated before that version ships.
